【摘要】:Two-stroke-cyclegasolineenginesaregenerallymorepronetopreignitionthanarefour-stroke-cycleenginesduetotheabsenceoftheinternalcoolingthattakesplaceduringtheinductionstrokeofthefour-stroke-cycleengines.Preignitioncanleadtomajorpistondamage,eitherdirectlyduetolocalizedoverheatingorastheresultofpreignition-induceddetonation.Somelubricantadditivesthatarewidelyusedinfour-stroke-cyclegasolineengineoilsareknowntoincreasetheprobabilityofpreignitioningasolinetwo-stroke-cycleengines.Thisprocedureisusedtodeterminethetendencyofanoiltoinducepreignitioninbothwater-cooledandair-cooledtwo-stroke-cyclegasolineengines.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheperformanceoflubricantsintendedforuseintwo-stroke-cyclespark-ignitiongasolineengineswhicharepronetopreignition.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
