【摘要】:Inprimarymetallurgicalprocessesforgoldbearingores,goldisextractedwithanalkalinecyanidesolution.Metallurgicalaccounting,processcontrol,andoreevaluationproceduresdependonaccurate,precise,andpromptmeasurementsofthegoldconcentrations.Thistestmethodisarefereemethodforcompliancewithcompositionalspecificationsformetalcontent.Itisassumedthatallwhousethisprocedurewillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryandthatproperwastedisposalprocedureswillbefollowed.FollowappropriatequalitycontrolpracticessuchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofgoldinoreprocessingcyanidesolutionintherangefrom0.3to10.0g/mLofgoldbydirectaspirationintoanatomicabsorptionspectrophotometer.1.1.1Thistestmethodmayalsobeappliedtocyanideleachsolutionsfrommetallurgicalevaluationprocedures.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionsaregivenin8.3,8.5,Section9,and10.4.1.1.
