【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthebasicmethodandrequirementsfordesign,construction,testingandmarkingofnon-electricalequipmentintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresinairofgas,vapour,mistanddusts.Thisstandardisvalidforatmosphereshavingpressuresrangingfrom0,8barto1,1barandtemperaturesrangingfrom-20℃to+60℃.Suchatmospherescanalsoexistinsidetheequipment.Theexternalatmospherecanbedrawninsidetheequipmentbynaturalbreathing,producedasaresultoffluctuationsintheequipment'sinternaloperatingpressureand/ortemperature.Thisstandardcanalsobehelpfulforthedesign,construction,testingandmarkingofequipmentintendedforuseinatmospheresoutsidethevalidityrangestatedabovebutinthiscase,theignitionriskassessment,ignitionprotectionprovided,additionaltesting(ifnecessary),manufacturer'stechnicaldocumentationandinstructionstotheuser,shouldclearlydemonstrateandindicatetheequipmentssuitabilityfortheconditionsitmayencounter.NOTE1Thisstandarddoesnotcoveradditionalmarkingforequipmentintendedforuseoutsidethescopeofitsvaliditysuchasanoxygen-enrichedatmosphere.Itspecifiestherequirementsforthedesignandconstructionofequipment,intendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresinconformitywithallcategoriesofGroupIandII.ThisEuropeanStandardcanbesupplementedbyEuropeanStandardsconcerningthespecifictypesofignitionprotectioncurrentlyinpreparation.NOTE2Thesestandardsaregivenbelow:prEN13463-2,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbyflow-restrictingenclosure(fr).prEN13463-3,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbyflame-proofenclosure(d).prEN13463-4,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbyinherentsafety(g).prEN13463-5,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbyconstructionalsafety(c).prEN13463-6,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbycontrolofignitionsources(b).prEN13463-7,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbypressurization(p).prEN13463-8,Non-electricalequipmentforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—Protectionbyliquidimmersion(k).EN50303,GroupI,categoryM1equipmentintendedtoremainfunctionalinatmospheresendangeredbyfiredampand/orcoal-dust.NOTE3Whereitisimpracticabletoavoidalleffectivesourcesofignition,explosionprotectioncanalsobeachievedby,e.g.inerting,suppression,ventingorcontainmentasdescribedinEN1127-1forGroupIIequipmentorforexamplebydilution,drainage,monitoringandshut-downasdescribedinprEN1127-2forGroupIequipment.Suchexplosionprotectionmethodsareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.NOTE4ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsofcontrollingtheriskofignitionofexplosiveatmospheresbyequipment.Thesecannotbesufficientforsometypesofpowder-handlingequipmentthatcreateadustcloudinsideanenclosureduringnormaloperation.Insuchcases,oneormoreoftheprotectivesystemsdescribedin6.5ofEN1127-1:1997shouldbeadopted.Themeansadoptedforlimitingtheeffectsofignitionsinminingsystemsaredescribedin6.5ofprEN1127-2:2001.Equipmentprotectedinthiswayisoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.NOTE5Directive94/9/ECconcerningequipmentandprotectivesystemsintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospherescanbeapplicabletothetypeofmachineorequipmentcoveredbythisEuropeanStandard.ThepresentstandardisnotintendedtoprovidemeansofcomplyingwiththeessentialhealthandsafetyrequirementsofDirective94/9/EC.
