【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheconceptualandlogicaldatamodelandtheexchangeformatforgeographicdatabasesforIntelligentTransportationSystems(ITS)applications.Itincludesaspecificationofpotentialcontentsofsuchdatabases(Features,AttributesandRelationships),aspecificationofhowthesecontentsshallberepresented,andofhowrelevantinformationaboutthedatabaseitselfcanbespecified(metadata).ThefocusofthisInternationalStandardisonITSapplicationsandemphasizesroadandroadrelatedinformation.ITSapplications,however,alsorequireinformationinadditiontoroadandroadrelatedinformation.EXAMPLE1ITSapplicationsneedinformationaboutaddressingsystemsinordertospecifylocationsand/ordestinations.Consequently,informationabouttheadministrativeandpostalsubdivisionsofanareaisessential.EXAMPLE2MapdisplayisanimportantcomponentofITSapplications.Forpropermapdisplay,theinclusionofcontextualinformationsuchaslandandwatercoverisessential.EXAMPLE3Point-of-Interest(POI)orserviceinformationisakeyfeatureoftravellerinformation.ItaddsvaluetoenduserITSapplications.TheConceptualDataModelhasabroaderfocusthanITSapplications.Itisapplicationindependent.ThisallowsforfutureharmonizationofthisInternationalStandardwithothergeographicdatabasestandards.
